In January 2014 Arts and Culture specialist Rachel Goodall founded the not for profit organisation, the Performing Arts teacher left the class room with a desire to be more creative, to push herself as a practitoner and engage with audiences through creative storytelling, connecting our community through stories and culture, we use the performing arts as a teaching tool and as a form of well being – creating identity, friendships, positivity and pride for our city and its rich heritage.
In 2015, Red Sauce collaborated with Portsmouth University and The Alzheimers Society on the creative Arts project, where Rachel worked as a research engine, as the drama lead, proving the positive effects and well being the arts achieve with those living with dementia and their carers.
