We run an inclusive theatre company, the group rehearse every Tuesday at Fratton Community Centre 3.30-5.30
The group learn transferable drama skills including improvisation, comedy, panto, musical theatre, they are able to devise their own shows and we offer training in singing and dancing. The Covid Pandemic
2020 We collaborated with Pamodzi Creatives to deliver well-being to children in Primary Schools in Portsmouth, we create a scheme of work for KS1 and KS2 pupils and was the Drama Lead on the Creative Project which had many artists working on the project.
In 2021 we receive £10,000 by the Lottery Fund for devising a performance piece with our inclusive theatre company around Queen Elizabeths silver Coronation. Collaborating with Global Visions and Film Crew 4 U CiC
In 2020 Red Sauce Theatre received funding from the D Day Story Museum to create a film centered around the musical, we also collaborated with The Army Flying Museum
In 2024 Red Sauce Theatre were commissioned to “recreate Victoria Parks Grand Ceremonial Opening” The Park was taken over by Victorian People with a back story taken from our research, using the people who were actually there.
A puppetry performance piece recreating the opening was performed to the delight of the crowd at Victoria Park
